Back in 2014, after encountering some less-than-stellar Essex wedding videographers, I decided to create Boutique Wedding Films. My vision was to offer couples the convenience of booking both photography and videography together, ensuring the film and images would beautifully complement one another.

Absolutely not, you can book us for just photography or one of our wedding films.
Oh yes, we’re no part timers! This is our full time jobs and passion so a professional service from start to finish is what your guaranteed with us…
First, we need to check if your date is available. Please send us your wedding details via the contact page or call us at 07887 641698 (Scott). We can arrange a phone or Zoom call to hear your plans and explain how it all works on the day. A retainer secures your date, with the balance due four weeks before the wedding.
When booking Boutique wedding films to capture your day, we will use our creativity in the filming and editing to create a beautiful story of your day in our modern cinematic style as in the show-reels on the website. The editing process is a lengthy one taking 4-5 days, carefully blending together the wonderful moments of your day so revisions are limited to two-three. So of course if there’s a couple of moments you would like replaced with something else it’s no problem. Extra and major changes are charged at £55 per hour.
Of course you can, they’re your photos and come in full high resolution and 100% copyright free.

Yes, a password protected gallery for you to share with friends and family with a full range of prints, framed prints, canvas’s etc.

Of course there’s a huge difference between a print you make at your local printers, and the professional quality one’s we print for you.

We leave the choice up to you.

Some clients like to meet when booking, though this isn't always necessary. It would be nice if we could meet either at the time of booking or coming up to your wedding day; we run through how it works on the day and get to know each other a little. Scott has a home office in Southend; we'll discuss your ideas and answer any questions you may have, ensuring your wedding day runs smoothly.

On the occasions when we can't meet due to distance issues, we can always Zoom or discuss the finer details on the phone.

The photos take 2-4 weeks. You will receive a link and a personal password to our online wedding gallery. This will allow you to view all the images from the day and select those you would like for your album.

It takes a little longer to create wedding films to our high standards. Normally, 10-16 weeks, depending on the time of year, but they are worth the wait!

You'll receive the finished films via a digital download link.
After you have viewed and picked your images, we personally design the album layout then send you a proof. Once you’re happy with the design it’s delivered direct to your within around three weeks.

This is up to you, our 15 spread albums will take around 80-90 images, but you can add as many extra spreads as you wish or add more images per spread.

I recommend that you don’t over fill your wedding album. It’s best to let the images speak for themselves.

Keep it simple..

Additional hours, photographers, hand finished prints, thank you cards, and a variety of digital products can be added no problem.

We know what you mean. We hate posing for pictures too! Posing isn’t natural and we don’t think it looks natural either. Our style is all about capturing the REAL you and the JOY of your wedding day. Most of our work is shot in a reportage style, capturing the day as it unfolds. We will guide you at times to create the stunning wedding photos and films we have become renowned for.

We do take traditional family pictures in addition to our more reportage style. While they may not be as exciting as some of our more informal images, we do appreciate the value and the history behind the traditional family portrait. Since each wedding is unique, we decide, in discussion with you, how much time is spent on traditional groups.

Yes of course. We are fully insured. We have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

Now firstly this has never happened to date, but in worst case scenario you would have one of several other professionals we work regularly with cover for the day. So it wouldn’t be a case of no photographer or videographer. Also we would still ‘retouch and edit’ the images and film which is where our unique modern style is created.
