Award-Winning Essex Wedding Photographer & Videographer

Relaxed, editorial storytelling since 2007.

We are an award-winning Essex wedding photography and videography team, dedicated to capturing the real, unscripted story of your day. Since 2007, we’ve documented over 1,000 weddings, delivering a high-end editorial look without the usual production drama. We don’t believe in cheesy poses or turning your wedding into a film set. You get one team, one consistent style, and a day that’s actually about you, not us and our cameras.

Two Decades of Experience

Since 2007, we’ve documented over 1,000 couples saying 'I do', which means we’ve pretty much seen it all. From the scenic shores of Ibiza to grand celebrations at The London Ritz and Gosfield Hall, that volume of work creates an instinct for the moments that actually matter. You get the benefit of those 20 years of experience from the very first frame we capture.

Experts in Every Tradition

Every wedding has its own rhythm, and we’ve learned the beat of them all. Whether it’s a high-energy Indian or Afghan celebration, a traditional Jewish ceremony, or a vibrant African or Persian wedding, we know the rituals inside out. We’re already in position before the key moments happen, documenting every tradition with total respect and a sharp, editorial eye.

The Luxury of Discretion

Real expertise is usually invisible. Our reportage approach lets you actually soak up the atmosphere of your day while we move through the crowd unnoticed. We don't turn your wedding into a busy film set; we work quietly in the background to capture those effortless, unscripted moments. You get world-class photos and films from a team that knows exactly when to step back and let you enjoy your party.

No Stress, No Drama, Just One Team!

booking your Essex wedding photographer and videographer together just works.

Booking a single team is the smartest way to keep your day from feeling like a
production. We don’t turn your wedding into a film set or a busy photoshoot. We stay
in the background and let the day happen. By booking film & photography together,
you ensure the whole vibe stays consistent without the mess of two separate crews
working around each other.

Expert lighting for every setting

We prioritise natural light for an authentic, reportage feel. However, we carry low-profile lighting when the sun goes down or the venue needs polish. We know how to enhance a room without killing the atmosphere.

We never get in each other's way

Because we’ve worked side-by-side at over 1,000 weddings, we’ve developed a shorthand. We stay out of each other’s shots, so we never ruin a big moment.

Your film and photos will actually match

There is nothing worse than a clashing look. We use the same timeless colour grade across everything. Your gallery and film share the same cinematic DNA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight-talking advice from your Essex wedding experts.

Why should we book an Essex wedding photographer and videographer from the same team?

Booking one team gives your photos and film the same style, colour grade, and overall feel. It also keeps the day smoother because the team already knows how to work together without clashing or missing key moments.

How do you handle low-light conditions in historic Essex venues?

Historic venues can be dark, but we use natural light, fast professional lenses, and subtle low-profile lighting when needed. This keeps everything looking bright, polished, and atmospheric without disturbing the mood.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

We always have a backup plan. We know how to use indoor spaces, available light, and atmospheric conditions to create beautiful images even when the weather changes.

Will having both a photographer and videographer feel intrusive?

No. We work quietly with a small setup and silent mirrorless cameras. Our aim is to stay in the background so you can enjoy the day while we capture everything naturally.

How much time do we need to set aside for portraits?

Usually, two short 15-minute sessions are enough. This gives us time to create beautiful editorial portraits without keeping you away from your guests for too long.

Do you offer wedding photography and videography outside of Essex?

Yes. We regularly cover weddings across London, Kent, Hertfordshire, the Southeast, and beyond, bringing the same relaxed, professional approach to every venue.

Do you need to have shot at our wedding venue before?

Not at all. We are actually recommended suppliers at a massive number of leading venues across Essex, London, and the South East, so we already know many of them inside out. But if we haven’t been to yours yet, it is absolutely not a requirement. When you hire a proper professional, turning up to a location with a fresh pair of eyes can actually be a brilliant creative advantage. A great image relies entirely on how we handle the light on your specific day, which changes by the minute anyway. We always do our homework well in advance, scouting the layout and mapping out fallback options so we can hit the ground running no matter the setting.

What happens if our wedding photographer or videographer is ill on the day?

Touch wood, in over 18 years and more than a thousand weddings, we have never missed a single date. Because we operate as a proper team rather than a lone wolf, we have a built-in safety net. If someone is genuinely wiped out by illness, another seasoned team member steps straight in with full access to your timeline. We also belong to a tight network of high-end professionals, so we will never leave you in the lurch with a last-minute cancellation call.

What is your process for backing up our wedding data?

We treat your wedding files like gold dust. On the day, every single one of our cameras records to two separate memory cards simultaneously. Touch wood, we have never had a memory card fail on us, but if one ever did, the exact same photos and film would already be safely sitting on the second card. Then, the second we get back that evening, everything is instantly backed up again and uploaded to the cloud, ensuring your memories are completely safe.

What is the difference between reportage and editorial wedding photography?

Reportage means capturing real, unscripted moments as they happen. Editorial photography is more styled and polished, like magazine-style portraits. We blend both for natural storytelling with a high-end finish.

When will we receive our finished wedding photos and films?

A sneak peek gallery is usually sent within a few days. Full photo galleries are delivered within 2–4 weeks, and wedding films are delivered within 12–18 weeks.

Do you need us to provide a detailed shot list?

We only need a short list of essential family group photos. For the rest of the day, we work in a natural reportage style to capture genuine moments as they unfold.

Are you fully insured to work at my chosen venue?

Yes. We carry full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance, which is required by many high-end venues. We can provide documentation if your venue needs it.

What are the best Essex wedding venues for photography?

Gosfield Hall, Leez Priory, Braxted Park, and Hatfield Place are excellent for photography, each offering beautiful light, strong backdrops, and unique character. The best venue is the one where you feel relaxed and comfortable.

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer and videographer?

Most couples book 12–24 months in advance, especially for peak summer dates. If your wedding is sooner, it’s still worth checking availability, as we occasionally have last-minute openings.

Can we get the raw video footage or unedited wedding photos?

For video, yes. You can grab the raw footage as an optional extra, which you can find detailed in our brochure. We bundle the unedited footage into a single file so you can simply press play and watch the day unfold, warts and all.

For photography, we don’t hand over unedited files. The curation, colour work, and signature style are a massive part of what you are paying us to deliver. But if you are a genuine photography enthusiast who would love to experiment with the files yourself, let us know and we can always have a sensible chat about it.

Legally, we retain the copyright, which is simply standard industry practice. Practically, though, they are your photos. You get a full licence to print, download, and share the final gallery with family and friends without any restrictions. The only real caveat is if you suddenly become incredibly famous and want to sell the images to OK! Magazine. In that case, we would naturally expect our cut of the deal. Otherwise, they are entirely yours to enjoy.

How many hours are included in the full-day wedding coverage?

Our main packages include 10 hours of coverage. This comfortably covers pretty much the entire day, starting around two to three hours before the ceremony for bridal prep, all the way through to the first dance and the start of the evening party. If you are planning a particularly early start or a seriously late finish, you can easily add extra hours from the options section in our brochure.

Let’s Secure Your Date

Simple, clear, and stress-free

Step 1: The Relaxed Chat

Booking your Essex wedding photographer should be exciting, not another task on your to-do list. We start with a quick, no-pressure chat to hear about your plans and ensure we’re the right fit for your day. There’s no hard sell here, just honest advice. If you already know exactly what you want, you can skip straight to the portal, but we’re always here if you want to run through the details first.

Step 2: Secure Your Diary Spot

Once you’ve chosen your perfect package, we make it official via our digital client portal. This is your personal hub where you can manage your contract, deposit, and wedding questionnaire in one place. Your date is only secured in our diary once the deposit is in, so this is the most important step to lock us in. You can tweak your package or add extras anytime up until the wedding day as your plans evolve.

Step 3: The Final Countdown

About six weeks before the big day, we’ll send over a final questionnaire to iron out the timings and venue details. The final balance is due four weeks before the wedding, and we’ll schedule a last Zoom or call in the final week to make sure everything is 100% ready. Then, you can simply relax and enjoy your day, knowing you’re in the hands of the Southeast’s most experienced team. We’ll take it from there.
